A leading energy management company is seeking a Software Application Engineer for Building Management Systems in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The role involves engineering HVAC solutions, generating graphics in Visio/AutoCAD, and interacting with global clients. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and HVAC knowledge are required. Formación

• Conversational level of English is expected.
• Experience with building management systems protocols (BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, OPC).

Overview

What will you do?

• Great people make Schneider Electric a great company. We are offering opportunities to succeed in the position of Software Application Engineer for Building Management Systems in Mexico, D.F., reporting directly to the Engineering Excellence Centers (EECs) Global Manager.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret sequences of operation, plant schematics, and system architecture to create graphics as per defined standards.
• Generate plan graphics, equipment graphics, and network layouts in Visio/AutoCAD or other applications.
• Engineer turnkey solutions around HVAC domain systems and applications (e.g., Air Handling Units, Chiller/Boiler Systems, variable air volume boxes, etc.).
• Interact with global customers to understand requirements and translate them into deliverables.
• Perform functionality checks as per requirements and specifications; ensure quality, defect-free deliverables, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
• Have knowledge of building management system protocols (BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, OPC, and others) and basic electrical engineering concepts.
• Basic knowledge of software used to integrate graphics with applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Conversational level of English is expected.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• HVAC knowledge.
