Job summary

Cummins Inc. seeks a Learning & Onboarding Specialist at the CDBS site to coordinate and facilitate onboarding and general training initiatives for new employees. You will deliver engaging sessions, design instructional materials, and partner with internal teams to support global onboarding data flows.

The role requires extensive bilingual English/Spanish communication, strong facilitation skills, and experience in learning and development with a data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Training or knowledge in learning and development, organizational development, instructional design, facilitation, or Human Resources is preferred.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency, with the ability to facilitate sessions, deliver presentations, and communicate effectively with different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate general and specific training programs according to business and organizational needs.
• Support training needs, audience, and task analysis and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
• Participate in the planning, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs.
• Create and maintain instructional content in alignment with corporate standards, including participant guides, instructor guides, presentations, assessments, and job aids.
• Conduct external research to identify and evaluate training programs available through vendors, universities, and educational organizations.
• Support cost-benefit analysis of alternative instructional material solutions, including modifications, purchases, or internal development.
• Facilitate training and onboarding sessions, adapting delivery and communication to the needs of different audiences.
• Serve as the primary facilitator for onboarding sessions at the CDBS site, fostering an engaging and effective learning experience for new employees.
• Facilitate Spanish-language onboarding sessions for U.S. locations as needed.
• Provide operational support for the Global OnBoarding data flow and related processes.
• Maintain records and reports on individual and group training progress using common tools and systems.
• Support the development and implementation of training evaluation plans.
• Analyze evaluation data to identify opportunities for program improvement and training effectiveness.
• Prepare training evaluation and effectiveness reports for senior training specialists or managers.
• Develop and analyze metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and provide actionable insights to leaders to support data-driven talent decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and educational organizations to support the development and delivery of training programs.
• Identify opportunities to optimize work processes and continuously improve the learning experience.
