Job Overview: The LATAM EH&S Manager will develop and implement health and safety compliance programs for the client account across the region. The role involves ensuring systematic management and continuous improvement through effective reporting and review methods. The manager will guide regional directors, site management, and personnel across multiple facilities to ensure EH&S compliance through policies, procedures, and programs.

Location: Insurgente Sur, CDMX

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Salary: $50,000 - $57,000 gross weekly or monthly

Modality: On-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement comprehensive EH&S programs complying with regulations and promoting employee participation.
• Maintain and improve the Safety Management System to prevent hazards and injuries.
• Lead a team of safety and risk management professionals, ensuring effective program implementation and compliance.
• Develop and deliver training, ensuring proper documentation.
• Assist with job safety analysis and safe work procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Collect and report data to support compliance programs.
• Participate in and lead compliance audits.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend preventive measures.
• Develop and implement ISO management systems (ISO 14001, 45001) across sites.
• Support ISO documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct audits for ISO compliance and collaborate with auditors.
• Ensure environmental regulation compliance, monitor environmental performance, and develop sustainability strategies.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring activities.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of EH&S management experience within operational systems and working with corporate clients.
• Strong understanding of EH&S regulations.
• Professional EH&S qualifications and memberships.
• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safety fundamentals, risk management, and data automation in safety.
• Cultural awareness and ethical standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively across organizations and geographies.
• Effective public speaking and training skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
