Stm Associates Inc. in Mexico is seeking a bilingual General Manager to oversee an underground precious metals operation.

You will lead the mine, processing plant, maintenance, technical services, and site support functions, with responsibility for safety, compliance, and performance. This high-visibility role requires fluency in English and Spanish, and offers flexibility to structure as FIFO or residential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering with a professional designation (P.Eng./PE) or Cédula Profesional.
• 15+ years leading large, complex underground precious metals operations.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Underground engineering expertise, financial acumen, union labour experience, risk management, and collaborative leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Short- and long-term plans aligned with production, corporate, and sustainability goals.
• Safety, critical risk management, and government and environmental compliance.
• Constructive union and community relationships.
• Site profitability, budgets, costs, and purchasing in partnership with the Unit Controller.
• Exploration initiatives with Technical Services to support mineral reserve growth.
