Formación

• 7-10 años de experiencia en actividades de transición empresarial y configuración de GBS/SSC.
• Conocimientos en funciones financieras en al menos dos dominios como RTR, PTP o OTC.

Responsabilidades

• Realizar análisis de costos y crear modelos de negocio para GBS/SSC.

EY – GDS – Consulting – Finance

As part of our EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will help clients in their Business Transition assignments from a functional perspective. This includes working with clients to set up a framework for a Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services Centre (SSC). Additionally, this role demands working knowledge around Performance Improvement initiatives and identifying potential opportunities for performance improvements. This includes a techno-functional role conducting finance process assessments, deep diving and analyzing pain areas, and coming up with solutions. The client base spans across industries and countries.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a Consultant / Sr. Consultant with expertise in GBS/SSC Setup assignments, Process Assessment for Finance and Accounting, Banking, Insurance, Wealth Asset Management, or Supply Chain domains to join the global EY - Finance Consulting team. Your key responsibilities

1. Spanish / Portuguese language knowledge
2. Experience in GBS set up activities such as activity analysis, cost baselining, location assessment, business case creation, target model design, etc.
3. Working knowledge of GBS / SSC setup engagements and related activities
4. Experience / knowledge around finance functions in at least two domains – Record to Report (RTR), Procure to Pay (PTP), Order to Cash (OTC), or FP&A
5. Experience around Account Reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, intercompany and Fixed assets accounting / management
6. Strong accounting skills and understanding of financial reports and statements
7. Experience / knowledge around finance functions or other sectors like Banking, Insurance, Wealth Asset Management, Supply Chain
8. Knowledge of activities in financial close of an organization for month / quarter / annual close periods
9. Good knowledge of ledger and sub-ledger systems; technical know-how of SAP ERP / HANA, Oracle GL (good to have)
10. Good to have experience / exposure (the below skills are an added advantage for candidates):
11. Translate business requirements to technical language and model (good to have)
12. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
13. Managing / supervising teams of people on project work
14. Open to travel (Domestic & International)
15. Open to work in any shift

Skills and attributes for success

1. Consulting experience is a good to have
2. Good articulation skills are a must
3. IFRS or Banking or Insurance certification is a good to have
4. Confident & professional communication style
5. Proficiency in English (oral and written)
6. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
7. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
8. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
9. Capability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
10. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
11. Strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills for interpreting the IFRS standards

To qualify for the role, you must have

1. Commerce Graduate or MBA (Finance)
2. Other professional degrees (like CPA, CFA, CMA) can be considered based on relevant working experience as required
3. 7-10 years (for Senior level) of work experience in Business Transition / GBS / SSC setup activities
4. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must

Ideally, you’ll also have

1. Business Finance Transformation, GBS / SSC Setup
2. Project management skills
3. Exposure to tools like ERP, HFM, Visio, ARIS, etc.
