Mission
Ensure the correct handling, loading, and delivery preparation of products in the warehouse and on delivery vehicles to guarantee timely, accurate, and safe distribution, maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with company policies.

- Peers: Loaders, Pickers, and Vending Operators
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading Operations
- Safely load and unload products onto delivery trucks or storage areas according to route schedules and operational requirements.
- Verify product quantities, quality, and condition during loading and unloading.
- Ensure proper placement of products to prevent damage during transport.
- Record movements of goods accurately in the warehouse management system or handheld devices.
- Inventory and Route Preparation
- Assist in picking and preparing delivery orders from warehouse stock.
- Verify that all products assigned to each route match the picklists and route plans.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or product damage immediately to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely replenishment and availability of products.
- Quality Assurance
- Check products for compliance with quality standards before loading.
- Participate in rework or corrective actions for orders with discrepancies identified during audits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading area and warehouse to comply with safety and quality standards.
- Equipment and Vehicle Checks
- Verify the operational condition of trucks or forklifts before loading (fuel, oil, air pressure, brakes, and general safety).
- Ensure that loading equipment (carts, pallets, straps, forklifts) is in proper working condition and used safely.
- Report any equipment failures or hazards to the supervisor for immediate action.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of loaded and unloaded goods.
- Complete necessary documentation for warehouse, delivery, and inventory control purposes.
- Communicate deviations, shortages, or damages promptly to the logistics coordinator.
- Assist in preparing reports for inventory reconciliation, route performance, and operational compliance.
- Compliance and Safety
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Follow environmental guidelines regarding waste management, recycling, and energy efficiency.
- Participate in safety audits, training, and emergency drills.
- Stop operations immediately if any condition poses a risk to employee safety, product quality, or the environment.
Education
- Minimum Required: Secondary School / Technical
- Preferred: High School / Technical Certification in Logistics, Warehouse, or Industrial Operations
Experience
- Warehouse Operations: 1 year
- Loading / Inventory Handling: 1 year preferred
Skills and Knowledge
- Logistics & Warehouse Management: Basic to intermediate knowledge of inventory, loading, and distribution operations.
- Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of OSHA/OHSAS or local safety standards, proper handling of hazardous materials, and PPE usage.
- Systems & Tools: Basic use of warehouse software, handheld devices, and MS Office applications.
- Physical Skills: Ability to safely handle and move heavy merchandise; maintain organization and cleanliness.
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and customer orientation.
- Languages: Spanish: Advanced (required)
