Stellantis NV seeks a Battery Shop Manager to lead a high-volume battery assembly operation, applying the Stellantis Production Way to reach KPIs and KAIs while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You will coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Production, Materials Logistics, HR, and Finance to maximize safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency, leveraging benchmarking from other plants.

Formación

  • 10+ years of operations management experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience with body shop welding and assembly processes in vehicle environments.
  • Technical knowledge in battery handling and EV battery assembly.
  • Battery cell and module diagnostics experience.
  • Center cost budget management experience and improvements to achieve TC and TPC.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills interfacing with employees at all levels from hourly workers to Senior Leadership.
  • Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
  • Strong knowledge of SPW/Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement systems.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the Stellantis Production Way across the center to drive continuous improvement and meet business objectives.
  • Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage a large, multi-shift unionized operation including maintenance, quality, and engineering.
  • Coordinate capital expenditure projects with maintenance and engineering teams.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to all employees and promote teamwork and problem solving.

Descripción del empleo

The Battery Shop Manager is primarily responsible for leading plant operations for a battery assembly operation, utilizing the Stellantis Production Way principles to achieve all required KPIs and KAIs. The Battery Shop Manager will drive a culture and processes that promote continuous improvement using benchmarking strategy obtained from other plants experience. This position work with all levels of the organization to maximize overall quality and efficiency. The Battery Shop Manager manage and lead the interface and collaboration of key stakeholders in the center such as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Production, Materials Logistics, Human Resources, and Finance. All of these activities focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Improvements to reduce total production cost and transformation cost.

Strategic
  • a.- The Battery Shop Manager will lead the Stellantis Production Way in the center and provide leadership across the entire manufacturing complex to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the operations 40.00
  • b.- Lead the multidisciplinary team in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost for all internal and external metrics, consistent with the business objectives Ensure compliance in all audit initiatives..

Operational
  • a.- Lead the Stellantis Production Way continuous improvement process to eliminate waste in all aspects of the business, achieve center business objectives, drive workforce engagement, and provide coaching and feedback to all employees 20.00
  • b.- Teach, cultivate, and promote teamwork and problem solving in a positive, proactive work environment
  • c.- Driver to piroritize safety in battery assembly operations, following the standars procedures as a SMI-176. The battery responsible promote the electrification courses and people certification for a safe operation.
Resource Management
  • a.- Lead all personnel in the center, including production, maintenance, quality, tooling, process engineering, both hourly and salary 40.00
  • b.- Review daily expenditures and identify the root cause of main issues and be proactive for future problems at the plant.
  • c.- Coordinate Capital Expenditure project plans with maintenance and engineering organizations
Other Functions

This role manages a large, multi-shift unionized operation, managing both hourly and salary personnel including Maintenance, Quality and Engineering personnel.
The Battery Shop Manager is the responsible to coordinate activities that can be supported the want to be strategy in the battery shop.

Position Requirements

Experience: (Time/Type)

  • *10 or more years of experience in operations management experience in a high-volume environment
  • *Experience on body shop welding and assembly process on vehicle environment
  • *Technical knowledge in battery handling and assembly of EV batteries
  • *Battery cell and module diagnostics experience
  • *Center cost budget management experience and improvements to archive TC and TPC
  • *Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership
  • *Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers
  • *Strong knowledge of Stellantis Way methodology or continuous improvement systems, such as TPS and Lean Manufacturing operation
  • *Knowledge of other process systems, quality systems, throughput, standardization, and product/process launch
  • *Experience in product launch based on the SPW methodologies and Early Equipment Management
  • *Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects while maintaining simplistic communications to others
