Job summary

Etéreo, Auberge Collection seeks a professional Bartender to join our luxury team on Riviera Maya. You will execute daily bar operations, ensuring guest satisfaction with efficient and courteous service.

You will engage guests on beverage offerings, maintain high standards, and support revenue through knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in luxury establishments.
• Good knowledge of beverage preparation, including coffee, cocktail, liqueurs and spirits.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast paced service environment.
• Professional appearance and manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in beverage and drink preparation and service.
• Relate with guests about needs, satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring high quality service.
• Comply with Auberge standards in use within the Bar and Restaurant outlets.
• Contribute to improving F&B sales by being knowledgeable about drinks, cocktails, spirits and prices.
• Accurately input orders into the Micros system and ensure correct timing and billing.
• Prepare guest checks and collect payment or signature as required.
• Clean, clear and reset tables as needed.
• Operate, maintain and clean bar equipment and fittings.
• Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe-working environment.
• Be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
• Develop positive relationships with guests and team members, remaining professional.

Job Description

Join our team as Bartender and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for execution of the daily operations of the bar while ensuring guest satisfaction by providing a highly efficient and courteous service.

• Primarily responsible for assisting guests in beverage and drink preparation, servicing of the bar, pool area and the restaurant in an efficient and timely manner.
• Relate with guests about needs, satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring a consistently caring and high quality service.
• Comply with Auberge standards in use within the Bar and Restaurant outlets.
• Contribute in improving the F&B sales revenues by being knowledgeable about drinks, cocktails, spirits and other menu items, specials and prices.
• Accurately and quickly take and place orders and input them into the Micros system ensuring correct timing and billing.
• Prepare the guest check accurately and collect payment or signature, as required.
• Clean, clear and reset tables as needed.
• Operate, maintain and properly clean all bar equipment and fittings.
• Ensure that serving bar is well-stocked at all times.
• Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe-working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
• Develop and form positive relationships with guests and team members, whilst remaining professional and service orientated at all times.
