The Standard, Mexico City is seeking a Barista to craft exceptional coffee and espresso beverages while delivering warm, personalized service in a luxury hotel setting. You will maintain cleanliness, manage stock, and collaborate with front-of-house and culinary teams to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Fluency in English and Spanish and a passion for hospitality are essential as you help create the iconic Standard experience for an international clientele.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Barista in a luxury hotel, café, or high-volume hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of espresso preparation, milk texturing, brewing methods, and coffee equipment.
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to confidently assist an international clientele.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
• Deliver warm, engaging, and personalized service to every guest.
• Maintain exceptional presentation, cleanliness, and organization throughout the café and coffee station.
• Ensure all beverages meet quality and presentation standards.
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures, inventory, and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with the culinary and front-of-house teams to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Stay curious about coffee trends and brewing techniques to continually elevate the guest experience.
