Formación

  • Minimum 3 years of bar management experience, preferably in a hotel or luxury environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of tequila and mezcal, including sourcing and presentation.
  • Basic financial understanding including labor costs and P&L.

  • Create and update bar menu with seasonal offerings and signature cocktails.

About the role of the Bar Manager:

The Bar Manager oversees daily operations of all resort bars, ensuring high-quality service, safety, hygiene standards, and memorable guest experiences. Responsibilities include staff supervision, inventory control, cost management, and collaboration with other departments for resort events and services.


What you will do:

  • Manage all aspects of the bar, including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Create, update, and manage the bar menu with the F&B team, including signature cocktails and seasonal offerings.
  • Monitor inventory, place orders, and control costs to minimize waste and shortages.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Train staff on mixology, customer service, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Organize bar events or promotions to boost sales and engagement.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required
  • Minimum 3 years of bar management experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality setting.
  • Deep knowledge of food and beverage operations, especially wine, beer, and spirits.
  • Extensive knowledge of tequila and mezcal, including sourcing, presentation, and guest education.
  • Proficiency with Micros and Opera systems.
  • Familiarity with hospitality systems like OpenTable is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations.
  • Basic financial understanding (labor costs, P&L, inventory).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in operating computer equipment.
