Descripción del empleo

The Service Associate is an entry-level position responsible for executing customer service activities, ensuring adherence to Citi’s policies and guidelines in coordination with the Customer Service function. The overall objective is to resolve client inquiries and issues and to provide ongoing customer support.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct client verifications, address account-related inquiries, process transactions, and cross-sell a wide range of products and services to existing and new Citi clients.
  2. Resolve inquiries and manage client issues based on the empowerment grid, including waivers of late charges, interest charges, annual fees, write-offs, banking fees, and charges for all cards and credit products within prescribed limits.
  3. Make recommendations for temporary line increases as necessary.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of a broad set of products and service offerings.
  5. Escalate potential fraud cases to the Fraud department and sign on behalf of the bank if needed.
  6. Fulfilling clients’ needs while providing an exceptional client experience is expected of all employees and will be measured by specific metrics.
  7. Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, adhering to policies, applying ethical judgment, and managing control issues transparently.
Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Influencing and relationship management skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience.
