A leading financial services company is seeking a Product Sales Sr Supervisor to lead a team in driving sales and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial sales, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to analyze market trends. This full-time position offers the opportunity to enhance sales strategies and improve process efficiencies within the organization.

Formación

The Product Sales Sr Supervisor provides leadership and supervisory responsibility for medium-sized operational/administrative team(s) of clerical/support employees. They possess a good understanding of procedures and concepts within their technical/subject area, along with a basic knowledge of other areas to understand their relation to their own. They understand how their team and area integrate with others to accomplish the objectives of the subfunction/job family. They aim to improve process efficiencies supporting unit objectives. They have a basic conceptual/practical grounding in policies relevant to the business. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are necessary to exchange potentially complex or sensitive information. They typically deal with variable issues that may have broader business impacts. They influence decisions through advice, counsel, facilitating services, or joint accountability for volume, quality, and timeliness of results. They do not have direct responsibility for financial or resource planning. Their work generally affects their own team and closely related work teams. They have full supervisory responsibilities, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and directing daily tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team to sell products to the existing base through portfolio analysis of insurance and investment holdings, needs analysis, and customer risk profiling.
  • Disseminate information on industry trends, financial markets, and competitor products, and analyze this information for meaningful sales engagement.
  • Develop the training roadmap for relationship managers and ensure successful completion of training certifications on regulatory requirements, knowledge, attitude, skills, and habits.
  • Ensure customer engagement by organizing meetings and discussing product offerings to build awareness.
  • Conduct joint sales drills with relationship managers to facilitate appropriate product sales.
  • Enhance the knowledge level of Branch Managers.
  • Act as the compliance gatekeeper for the region/branch to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Be vigilant for potential sales complaints, cancellations, surrender ratios, lapse rates, and sales complaints.
  • Highlight potential financial, regulatory, and credit risks to the franchise.
  • Assess risks appropriately in business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and by maintaining high ethical standards, transparency, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of financial sales experience preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in sales.
  • Knowledge of financial products.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Customer service skills.
