Responsibilities
The Incentives Development team is dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in every project. Together, they blend their technical expertise to create a best-in-class user experience. The team focuses on client satisfaction, exploring opportunities, implementing features to delight and exceed customer expectations, and maintaining modern, robust infrastructure.
- Build new features for the REST API & enhance the AWS infrastructure on top of a modern tech stack using C# and AWS CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with product management, designers, and QA to implement new features and enhancements.
- Participate in pull request reviews to ensure high code quality.
- Optimize application performance for scalability and low latency across large datasets.
- Develop features using AWS tools such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
- Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure high availability and uptime.
Qualifications
What You Bring
- 7+ years of backend development experience, with a focus on data-intensive applications.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., C#, Java, C++).
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift).
- Understanding of ELT/ETL processes and challenges in handling large-scale data.
- Understanding of Software Design fundamentals.
- Problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
- English communication skills; B2 level English or higher required.
- Learn and familiarize with development processes, codebase, coding standards and tools.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate progress.
- Ability to write good code and complete small tasks or bug fixes to demonstrate capability.
- Growing independence and readiness to take on complex features.
- Willingness to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently; adhere to coding standards and code reviews.
- Lead development of larger features or services critical to the ICM application.
- Ensure scalability and reliability through testing and performance tuning.
- Understand critical parts of the application to troubleshoot defects with minimal assistance.
- Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work; continuous learning and industry awareness.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to efficiency gains.
- Participate in roadmap discussions and cost estimation for future development.
- Role requires EST business hours; remote candidates welcome but must align with EST as needed.
