Insight Global is looking for a Backend Engineer to support one of our clients out of Mexico City. This Software Engineer will join an application team supporting the re-writing, architecting, and designing of new features on their financial platforms as well as supporting the migration of legacy applications to GCP.

This role requires reporting onsite 4 days a week in Mexico City, MEX. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of backend Java Spring Boot experience.
• Experience designing scalable APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL databases.
• Experience working in a cloud environment - GCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rewrite and architect features on financial platforms.
• Design and implement new features and support migration of legacy apps to GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend services.
