We are currently searching for an Azure Cloud Financial Operations Lead:

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex financial tasks, including budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis of public cloud expenditures across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Collect, review, and analyze usage, operational, and financial data from multiple sources.
• Conduct financial analysis to help business owners assess the impact of cloud adoption.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in cloud-based analytics, supporting future capabilities.
• Collaborate with data teams across the organization.
• Define the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and business value of public cloud adoption.
• Develop, execute, maintain, and track the cloud reservation portfolio.
• Analyze cloud usage, capacity requirements, and financial impact for assigned accounts.
• Provide recommendations to cost owners for financial optimization.
• Develop and monitor financial plans for cloud expenditure.
• Assist in defining optimization policies and guidelines.
• Conduct audits and analyses of optimization efforts, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Identify areas of risk and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on public cloud financial optimization trends, policies, and regulations.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance or business analysis.
• Expertise in cloud financial optimization.
• Experience managing cloud portfolios exceeding $5M annually.
• Background in managing cloud reservations.
• Understanding of FinOps concepts; FinOps certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cloud financial management in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Languages:

• Advanced oral English.
• Native Spanish.

Notes:

• Remote role with occasional on-site visits to the client’s office in Mexico City.
