Formación

About the role of Kitchen Helper:

The Kitchen Helper will actively support the preparation of dishes during service, along with the rest of the kitchen brigade, carrying out sanitation, reception, arrangement, cleaning, preparation, and production of food and all related activities.

What will you do in this position?

  • Ensure hygiene and arrangement of the work area, materials, and supplies prior to any food handling.
  • Support in the preparation (mise en place) assigned.
  • Assist in executing recipes/processes thoroughly and disciplined; seek assistance if there are doubts.
  • Support in the preparation of food during food service with cleanliness, a sense of urgency, and discipline.
  • Actively assist in the arrangement of all food storage areas.

What is necessary for this role?

  • Technical degree in Gastronomy or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the position.
  • Experience of more than one year working in gastronomy in a luxury hotel or similar will be valued.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Work safely, prudently, and in an organized manner.

*This job requires applicants to have valid work authorization in Mexico, and Spanish is essential.*
