Capgemini Engineering is looking for a seasoned AWS Platform Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure initiatives for a high-impact life sciences project. If you're passionate about automation, security, and building scalable solutions in AWS, we want to hear from you.

YOUR ROLE:

• Architect and deploy secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using EC2, RDS, Kafka, Cognito, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and develop Python tooling for cloud operations.
• Drive CI/CD workflows via GitHub and agile delivery using Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate across engineering and DevOps teams to solve complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.

YOU PROFILE:

• 5+ years in cloud or platform engineering with a strong AWS focus.
• Proven expertise in EC2, RDS, Kafka, Cognito, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
• Advanced skills in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid Python programming for automation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and CI/CD integration.
• Practical knowledge of Jira for agile tracking and Confluence for documentation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
