Job summary

Capgemini Engineering en México busca un ingeniero de software embebido para diseñar, desarrollar e integrar componentes para ECUs automotrices. Desarrollarás y configurarás AUTOSAR Classic SWCs, BSW y interfaces RTE, realizando depuración y pruebas unitarias e de integración siguiendo ASPICE.

Trabajarás con equipos de sistema, testers y clientes, y mentoring a ingenieros junior en temas técnicos y de procesos. Se valora experiencia en herramientas de depuración y control de versiones (Git).

Qualifications

• Experiencia sólida en desarrollo de software embebido en C/C++.
• Conocimientos de AUTOSAR Classic: SWCs, BSW, RTE y diagnósticos.
• Comprensión de ASPICE y ciclo de vida de software automotriz.
• Uso competente de herramientas de depuración y control de versiones (Git).

Responsibilities

• Diseñar, desarrollar e integrar componentes de software embebido para ECUs automotrices.
• Desarrollar y configurar AUTOSAR Classic SWCs, BSW y interfaces RTE; depurar y realizar pruebas unitarias e de integración.
• Asegurar cumplimiento de ASPICE y documentar trazabilidad.
• Mentorizar a ingenieros novatos en temas técnicos y de procesos.

YOUR ROLE:

Design, develop, and integrate embedded software components for automotive ECUs. Develop and configure AUTOSAR Classic SWCs, BSW modules, and RTE interfaces. Perform hands-on debugging, root-cause analysis, and defect fixing. Execute unit testing, integration testing, and support system testing activities. Ensure compliance with ASPICE processes, including documentation and traceability. Use version control systems following branching and review strategies. Support technical discussions with system engineers, testers, and customers. Mentor entry-level engineers on technical and process topics.

YOUR PROFILE:

Required Technical Skills Solid experience in C/C++ embedded software development. Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR Classic, including: SWCs BSW configuration RTE integration Diagnostics Practical experience in ADAS automotive projects. Experience with debugging tools (JTAG, debuggers, trace tools). Knowledge of software testing strategies and defect management. Practical understanding of ASPICE and automotive software lifecycle. Proficient use of Git or equivalent version control systems.
