Job summary

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division seeks a Test Technician to execute product testing, acquire data and report performance for Low Voltage Vehicle Controls in Reynosa, MX. You will collaborate with product teams to understand testing needs and lead validation testing for new and existing designs.

You will create test instructions, support product builds and participate in continuous improvement activities, including VA/VE and Lean events, while ensuring calibration and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in automotive/electrical/testing environment.
• Proficient with LabVIEW, Python and C compilers.
• Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CAN/J1939/LIN automotive data protocols.
• Familiar with GIT, GitHub and Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Execute product testing, data acquisition and reporting of component performance.
• Lead validation testing and support new design launches.
• Create test plans, procedures and test instructions for technicians.
