Ford of Mexico is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Risk & Resiliency Specialist to protect vehicle production by partnering with distressed suppliers on-site. You will lead cross-functional teams and implement corrective actions to maintain build schedules.
The role requires extensive travel (up to 100%), weekend support as needed, and strong data-driven problem solving using MS Office and ERP/quality systems.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years in manufacturing operations or supply chain management; 3+ years in leadership or cross-functional roles.
- Lean manufacturing knowledge and problem-solving methodologies (8D, etc.).
- Experience with APQP/PPAP is a plus.
Responsabilidades
- Diagnose root causes of production/quality risk with distressed suppliers on-site.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve capacity constraints and prevent disruptions.
- Evaluate supplier production schedules, capacity, and quality metrics to flag risks to production plans.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard build schedules.
- Translate complex supplier issues into updates for senior leadership.
- Travel to supplier locations up to 100% to provide on-site support.
