Bosch Guadalajara, Jalisco, seeks a Software Engineering Team Lead for Vehicle Communication Gateways. You will guide a team of ~15 engineers, drive software development processes, and align with US counterparts to deliver gateway and connectivity modules.

The role emphasizes establishing engineering practices, planning accuracy, and adopting modern architectures such as edge nodes and software‑defined vehicles. Hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 remote) is offered.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in automotive software development projects.
• 5+ years coordinating/managing automotive projects.
• 2+ years leading a technical team.
• Experience with automotive development processes and standards (Automotive SPICE, V-model, MISRA).
• Experience with configuration tools (Git, JIRA, Synergy, or similar).
• Excellent oral and written English communication.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the software engineering team by hiring, evaluating performance, supporting development, and retaining talent.
• Assess team competencies against technologies, identify gaps, and build ramp‑up plans.
• Improve planning, tracking, and execution: effort estimation, milestones, risk identification.
• Guide development framework, tool chains, and CI/CD practices.
• Strengthen collaboration with US teams, define interfaces and project status.
• Interface with system engineering, V&V, QA, and PM to align software with others.
• Support regional initiatives and technical input for quotations and proposals.
