Magna, part of Cosma International, seeks a seasoned quality engineer to define and streamline processes that ensure product and process conformity to customer requirements in the automotive sector.

You will document procedures, coordinate production staff, lead root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement to uphold high-quality standards across sites. English proficiency is required, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with automotive experience is preferred.

Formación

• Interprets drawings and follows quality plans.
• Proficient with measurement systems and quality standards.
• Familiar with Core Tools: PPAP, SPC, MSA, APQP and CP.
• Basic welding and measurement system experience (MSA).
• Understands appearance quality and product knowledge.
• Awareness of nonconforming product procedures and suspect material.
• Familiar with client requirements and automotive industry standards.
• Uses client portals and manages dimensional control.
• Applies problem analysis methods.

Responsabilidades

• Establish, document and implement processes to assure product and process quality per customer requirements and coordinate staff for internal/external quality issue resolution via continuous improvement.
• Be capable of establishing and implementing processes to guarantee product quality per customer requirements.
