Job summary

Magna International, within Cosma, seeks an experienced material and logistics coordinator to maintain smooth flow of materials and coordinate shipments across production and warehouses. You will supervise a team, monitor inventories and drive improvement initiatives in a dynamic automotive environment.

The role requires a technical or engineering degree, 3+ years in automotive supply chains, and English at an intermediate level.

Qualifications

Engineering, Bachelor's, or Technical degree completed.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an automotive-related role.
English at an intermediate level.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory and logistics, SAP/ERP, MS Office and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

Maintain efficient flow of raw materials, finished goods and empty equipment in production and warehouses.
Coordinate material supply according to the production plan.
Manage shipments and special consignments to customers.
Monitor physical inventories of finished products.
Ensure proper forklift movement and verification of mobile equipment.
Lead, develop and train the personnel under supervision.
Drive continuous improvement, safety, quality and target attainment initiatives.
Follow up on corrective actions and customer requirements.
