AUMOVIO is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead at our manufacturing site in Jalisco, Mexico, to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements while maintaining and improving the QMS.

You will plan and lead internal audits, support external audits, and drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement across processes, product and documentation. Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electronics, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• Intermediate English.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, Quality Management Systems, and customer-specific requirements (Strong).
• In Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Preferred Qualifications: IATF 16949 Internal Auditor Certification or VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and company quality standards.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Plan and lead internal system, process, and product audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.
• Support customer, certification body, and corporate audits.
• Standardize and manage quality procedures, processes, and documentation across the plant.
• Coach and support process owners in the implementation and maintenance of QMS requirements.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Lead structured problem-solving activities and root cause analysis.
• Deliver training and guidance on quality methods, standards, and tools.
