Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Mexico to join our team and help drive manufacturing excellence. You will provide technical support in assembly processes, coordinate maintenance and engineering activities, and assist to support daily manufacturing operations with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role requires strong English communication, hands-on maintenance experience, and a background in automotive manufacturing.

Qualifications

Completed bachelor's degree requirement for the role.
Advanced English skills (written and spoken) with 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
Experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Define preventive and corrective maintenance and ensure effectiveness based on downtime, OEE, scrap, and FTQ metrics.
Review process set ups to ensure machines run with correct parameters and within specifications.
Perform MSA & capability studies, thermal profiles, and tooling analysis.
Define standard work for technicians and ensure proper execution.
Support response actions for assembly plant issues and warranty returns.
Participate in KPI meetings and operations reviews.
