Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in automotive exterior lighting optical design or validation.
• Hands-on experience with optical design tools and measurement.
• Experience with headlamp lighting systems and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design optical components (reflectors, lenses, light guides).
• Perform optical simulations and optimize light distribution.
• Collaborate with mechanical, tooling, and manufacturing teams.
• Conduct lamp measurements, prototype evaluations, and lab validation.
• Translate requirements into optical design specs and documentation.
• Support development from concept to production and validation.
• Prepare technical reports and customer presentations.
• Troubleshoot optical performance issues in development and production.
