Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking skilled Software Test Engineers for Automotive R&D to validate embedded software on ECUs, collaborating with OEMs and Tier-1 customers. The role requires strong UDS expertise, debugging skills with CANoe/WinIDEA, and experience in test automation.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years in Automotive Software Testing, Validation, or Diagnostics.
• Strong UDS expertise.
• CAN/CANoe advanced usage.
• winIDEA debugging experience.
• Embedded C troubleshooting.
• Diagnostic analysis and defect isolation.
• LABORATORY INSTRUMENTATION familiarity.
• Customer interaction experience.
• CAPL scripting knowledge.
• Python scripting for test automation.
• LabVIEW for test execution and data collection.
• Vector tools for automotive testing.
• ASPICE awareness and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute software verification and validation activities for automotive ECUs.
• Analyze requirements and develop test cases.
• Perform diagnostic testing using UDS over CAN networks.
• Investigate software defects and support root cause analysis.
• Create clear and reproducible defect reports.
• Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams.
