Job summary

Hitachi Digital LLC in Mexico is seeking a Senior Embedded Validation Engineer to validate automotive embedded systems, including instrument clusters and HUDs. You will design test strategies, execute system-level validation, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities cover test automation, Hardware-in-the-Loop, CAN/LIN/SPI/I2C testing, and CI/CD integration. Strong scripting (Python/C#) and CAPL are preferred.

Qualifications

Demonstrated background in embedded software QA, systems validation, and defect management.
Experience reviewing requirements, building risk-based test cases, and troubleshooting low-level communication issues.

Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution: Design test plans, functional specs, and stress tests across integration, system, and regression phases.
Test Automation & Simulation: Build automated test scripts and simulations to drive continuous test coverage.
Hardware-in-the-Loop & Bench Testing: Use bench tools to verify embedded software on physical hardware.
Protocol & Compliance Testing: Perform serial data compliance and physical/protocol layer testing.
Triage & Quality Assurance: Track bugs, perform root-cause analysis, review test outputs, support CI/CD integration.
Mentorship: Support and mentor junior validation engineers.
