Job summary

Molex, a Koch company, is seeking a Product Design Engineer to develop and validate automotive connectivity products. You will transform technical requirements into practical design solutions, contributing to performance, manufacturability and reliability through design development, validation planning and robust change management.

You will collaborate with a global team across design, validation and manufacturing processes to deliver solutions that meet customer and internal requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience creating or modifying 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using NX, CATIA or comparable CAD.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, tolerance-stack analysis and DFMEA.
• Experience analyzing product test results against requirements.
• Experience managing engineering changes, technical specifications or product documentation.
• Fluent English communication skills and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD.
• Document product requirements, scope, feasibility and work plans.
• Prepare and manage engineering changes and related technical docs.
• Conduct FMEA, FEA, tolerance-stack analysis and other design studies.
• Develop Verification Plan and analyze test results statistically.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions with structured methods.
