is seeking a technically skilled automation support professional to install, Commission, and maintain automation systems. The role covers electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and basic automation tasks on the production floor. You will troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and control devices, perform basic PLC programming, and assist with start-up and validation of automated equipment.

Formación

  • 6–12 months of experience in industrial automation, electrical systems, controls, maintenance, or related field.
  • Technical degree, associate degree, or equivalent education in Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC programming, Ladder Logic, HMI systems, sensors, actuators, electrical controls, and industrial automation equipment.
  • Knowledge of PLC, AutoCAD, HMI, and MATLAB or equivalent software is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and automation documentation.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and root cause identification for technical issues.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems, DCS, and industrial protocols is desirable.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to follow up on multiple technical activities and project requirements.
  • Conversational English – B1 level.
  • Availability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform hands-on activities on the production floor.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide technical support for installation, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial automation systems and equipment.
  • Perform technical activities involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and basic automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, control devices, electrical systems, and automated equipment.
  • Perform basic PLC programming and modifications, including Ladder Logic and adjustments to existing programs.
  • Support the installation, testing, start-up, and validation of automated equipment and control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation drawings and documentation.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on automation and control systems.
  • Monitor and follow up on assigned activities and project requirements for timely completion.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, materials, credentials, and resources in proper working condition.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate status and issues to Engineering and management.
  • Support project planning by estimating activity times and coordinating tasks.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
  • Request, evaluate, and follow up on RFQs and supplier quotations for materials and tools.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers to implement technical solutions.

  • Perform basic PLC programming and modifications, including Ladder Logic, troubleshooting, and adjustments to existing control programs.

  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation drawings and technical documentation.

  • Monitor and follow up on assigned activities, urgent technical requests, and project requirements to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, materials, credentials, and technical resources in proper working condition, following safety and operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical activities, prepare progress reports, and communicate project status and technical issues to the Engineering team and management.
  • Support project planning by estimating activity times, coordinating technical tasks, and assisting with system integration activities.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities to optimize processes, equipment, and work methods.
  • Request, evaluate, and follow up on RFQs and supplier quotations for materials, components, tools, and equipment required for automation projects.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, and external suppliers to implement technical solutions.
