Ford México is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure long-term reliability and performance of automated production equipment at the Guanajuato/Irapuato site. You will develop preventive, predictive, and lifecycle maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and sustain production performance.

Highlights include leading root cause analyses, managing spare parts strategy, backing up PLC/HMI and robot programs, and coordinating with Production, Process Engineering, Controls, Quality, and OEM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical/Electromechanical or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in automotive electronic component manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience supporting automated manufacturing processes.
• Experience in Maintenance or Controls Engineering or Process Coach roles.

Responsabilités

• Ensure long-term reliability, availability, and performance of automated production equipment throughout the program lifecycle.
• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and lifecycle maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement permanent corrective actions for chronic issues.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Process Engineering, Controls, Quality, and OEM/supplier teams.
