Ford México is seeking an Inverter Process Engineer to act as the primary technical interface among Product Development, PTME, and the manufacturing floor. You will translate complex engineering changes into clear manufacturing standards while proactively eliminating process waste and bottlenecks to ensure line reliability and capability.

You will lead Change Control activities, maintain alignment with latest engineering levels from Launch through lifecycle, and perform regular Cp/Cpk analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive electronic component manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience supporting automated manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Experience with process engineering, process coaching, or similar roles.
• Working knowledge of automated vision inspection systems and soldering processes, especially selective soldering.

Responsabilités

• Interface between Product Development, Manufacturing Process Development, and the manufacturing floor to translate technical changes into actionable standards.
• Lead Change Control activities, ensuring latest engineering levels for launches across parts and lifecycle stages.
• Conduct monthly and annual process capability studies (Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk) for stability and capability of CC and SC processes.
• Develop reaction plans for process deviations and ensure proper calibration of measurement equipment.
• Lead root cause investigations (RCA, 8D, DMAIC) with PD, Production, Quality, and Suppliers.
• Maintain and update process documentation, PFMEA, DCP, visual aids, and process sheets.
