Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into SpinCo and locate an Automation Engineer in Guadalajara, North. The role focuses on designing, testing, and optimizing automated systems to improve processes and reduce costs, reporting to the Test Engineering Manager.

The candidate will engage with customers, develop tests and simulations, implement QA processes, and ensure safety across motor controls, drives, and HMI in mechanical and digital environments.

Formación

• Senior background experience in automation engineering.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong experience in automotive industry.
• Experience in state of work development.
• Expertise in Bill of Materials (BoM) structuring.
• Proficiency in robot automation.
• Knowledge of DFX/DFM principles.
• Experience with fixtures and gages.

Responsabilidades

• Engaging with customers and addressing internal project requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency with automation.
• Researching and designing automation technology.
• Creating tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended.
• Establishing monitoring and QA processes.
• Investigating defects or errors in the technology.
• Managing safety systems, motor controls, drives, communication systems, and HMI.
