Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. is seeking an Automation Engineer to fault find, troubleshoot and improve controls solutions for automated material handling equipment. You will train technicians and work with Global Controls to enhance monitoring and data visualization across the site.

The role focuses on conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, and HMI systems with emphasis on system documentation and cross-site collaboration within the Global Controls network.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC controlled automation and diagnosis in a continuous production environment.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
• Experience in engineering and estimating material handling and storage systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Be the site level SME for all controls systems and sensors within the building.
• Train technicians in basic control systems fault finding.
• Collaborate to monitor MHE metrics and provide data visualization to internal customers.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects via Global Controls network.
• Ensure documentation and backup libraries are current and accurate.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment; assist other sites as needed.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and develop improvement strategies.
