Qualifications

Diploma/degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering.
2+ years in the automotive industry.
Advanced proficiency in Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI platforms (TIA Portal, WinCC, Simotion, Safety Systems).
Basic to intermediate Beckhoff, Omron, and Mitsubishi PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to resolve machinery and equipment downtime across manufacturing areas.
Verify PLC programs to ensure system integrity and eliminate unauthorized bypass conditions that could compromise equipment protection and control monitoring.
Identify critical components and conditions impacting equipment reliability and lifecycle performance.
Monitor and follow up on automation-related actions and improvement initiatives reported by production supervisors.
Maintain and execute backup procedures for Bosch, Serra, robotic systems, Trumpf power supplies, CNC laser equipment, and other automation assets.
Analyze daily performance results, conduct root cause investigations, and apply PDCA, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
