Asan Machine guarding Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsiblefor designing, developing, and implementing Machine Guarding solutions toimprove machine safety in ourmanufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams toidentify machine guarding opportunities, develop control strategies, andintegrate machine guard systems. Your expertise in machine guardingtechnologies will contribute to the success and growth of our organization.You will report directly to our Machine guarding Engineering Manager. In thisrole, you will impact our manufacturing operations by implementing machineguarding solutions that optimize production processes, and improve machinesafety. Your contributions will directly impact our bottom line and help usmaintain our position as a global technology leader. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
• Performrisk assessments at sites across the globe, develop appropriate solutions,create detail design, fabricate and implement machine guarding solutions toimprove machine safety.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify machine guardingopportunities and develop control strategies
• Integrate machine guardingsystems with existing manufacturing processes
• Conduct testing andtroubleshooting of machine guarding systems
• Provide technical support andtraining to manufacturing teams
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years of experience in machine guarding engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of machine guarding technologies, control systems and PLC is required. Experience in field work is a plus. TUV certification is a plus.
Availability to travel
Advanced english. Interviews will be held on english
WE VALUE
• Master’s degree in a technical discipline
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI design
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
