Siemens Mobility in Querétaro, Mexico seeks a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production layouts and automate key processes. You will collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and PM to define equipment specs and cost concepts, coordinating with suppliers for hardware and software solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing process planning, automation design, and Lean manufacturing understanding.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing process planning and equipment specification.
• Experience designing automation devices and managing integrator suppliers.
• Knowledge of production layouts and process optimization.
• Experience with cost analysis and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, MS Office and project management tools.
• Understanding Lean Manufacturing and industrial standards.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze product specifications and clarify requirements with R&D, Engineering, and PM.
• Plan overall layout of production sequences and equipment configuration.
• Define process specifications with engineers and external service providers.
• Develop cost concepts for processes and equipment and prepare memos for management.
• Evaluate suppliers and service providers for hardware and software with Purchasing.
• Plan implementation of new production sequences with Industrial Engineering teams.
• Support testing and approval of pre-series results and coordinate issue resolution.
• Design automation devices and ensure integration into production systems.
• Manage relationships with integrator suppliers for successful automation.
