Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities

In his/her field of expertise, and through either plant, program or generic processes, the Process Specialist will:

1. Support processes development and improvement, and validate product innovations.
2. Ensure development and deployment of process standards, design checklist and guidelines, best practices.
3. Support programs, plants and suppliers for process issues.
4. Maintain a tooling and equipment database.

You will be working on challenges that matter.

Plant Processes

1. Continuous improvement: contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tooling and equipment.
2. Trouble shooting: Support production or parts suppliers to solve problems related to his/her field of expertise.
3. Maintenance of series production: Engineering Change Management: Analyze, validate and implement process modifications related to his/her field of expertise. Maintain a local database of tooling and equipment to support capacity management.
4. Program: Feedback existing status and plant’s recommendations for process issues. Participate in tooling and equipment follow-up and validations. Support reception and start-up of tooling and equipment.
5. Standards and best practices: Ensure application of process standards. Identify best practices for his/her expertise network.

Program Processes

1. Simultaneous Engineering. Ensure that checklists and guidelines for product design are applied.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

1. Diploma/degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering.
2. 2+ years in the automotive industry.
