Forvia in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking an Automation & Controls professional to improve line uptime and lead robotics support within a sustainable mobility technology leader.

The role focuses on diagnosing servo drives, motion control and automated equipment, implementing control logic changes after plant changes, and developing maintenance training programs to build autonomous teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal).
• Industrial robots (KUKA preferred).
• Servo drives and motion control.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a production environment.

Responsabilidades

• Continous improvement on linestoppage downtime reduction
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to servo drives, motion control, and automated equipment.
• Implement logic adjustments and parameter changes following plant change-management processes.
• Automation implementation to reduce humand dependand operation, including the failure occurance.
• Support industrial robotic applications (KUKA preferred).
• Program recovery and optimization.
• TCP, mastering, and reference validation.
• PLC–robot interlock verification.
• Automation troubleshooting and technical people empowerment.
• Create procedures and standards for troubleshooting for the diversity of failure modes in the production equipments.
• Develop autonomous teams in maintenance by continous training.
• Develop technical school for maintenance, gap leaders, and process engineers to improve skills

Automation & Controls
