Stellantis in Saltillo, Mexico seeks a maintenance-focused engineer with strong data analysis skills to optimize the E-Wall-FIS reporting and maintenance of the FIS system for clear PLC messaging. You will develop maintenance plans, coordinate preventive and corrective work, and register new maintenance activities to raise equipment performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electronics/electrical/mechatronics with 5+ years in a similar position, plus strong PLC and robotics

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, electrical or mechatronics with at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Intermediate, advanced knowledge in PLCs, robots, and industrial networks.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
  • English level 60–80% speaking, reading and writing; willingness to communicate in a bilingual environment.

Responsabilidades

  • Daily data analysis using E-Wall-FIS to create reports on micro stoppages and bottlenecks for improvement projects.
  • Maintain FIS system to ensure clear PLC messages are displayed.
  • Prepare maintenance plans per Total Maintenance System for equipment and scheduled stoppages.
  • Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective activities on automatic equipment and related service within manufacturing processes.
  • Generate and register new maintenance activities in Total Maintenance System to improve equipment performance.
  • Create standard work instructions (SMPs) and train personnel accordingly.
  • Control and monitor spare parts to ensure equipment availability and plant productivity.
  • Ensure safety requirements are met and staff trained on safety for maintenance activities.
  • Develop failure analysis and monitoring strategies to eliminate breakdowns; drive quality improvements in the vehicle process.
  • Lead training plans for personnel on technologies used in installed equipment; support Shop Floor management initiatives.

The Candidate Must Have The Following Knowledge In:
Daily Data Analysis based on the E-Wall-FIS system to create reports as micro stoppages, Bottlenecks in order to follow improvement projects.
Maintenance to the FIS system in order to have a clear and real PLC messages that will be displayed at system.
The Candidate Must Have The Following Knowledge In:
Preparation of maintenance plans according to the Total Maintenance System (or similar) of the equipment under their charge, whether for weekends or scheduled stoppages, in addition to coordinating and monitoring preventive and corrective activities of automatic equipment, manuals and service that will be in your charge and that are also within the manufacturing process at General Assembly.
Generation of new maintenance activities and registering them in the Total maintenance System (or similar) to achieve improvement in the performance of the equipment in charge.
Generation of standard work instructions for maintenance, SMP's (Standard Maintenance Procedure) according to what is suggested by the OEMs, of the equipment in their charge. It includes training personnel on how to carry out the activities described in the SMP's.
You must have control and monitoring of spare parts for the equipment in your charge, to guarantee the performance and good condition of the automatic manual and service equipment, ensuring that there are always critical spare parts that could put the operation of the equipment at risk. the plant to continue producing.
Comply with the safety requirements established by the company, in addition to raising awareness and training the personnel in charge on all issues that involve safety at work for maintenance activities.
Prepare failure analysis using methodology, in addition to developing strategies and monitoring the activities resulting from the analyzes to eliminate breakdowns.
Development of strategies and monitoring of activities to eliminate problems that affect the quality of the vehicle, resulting from equipment failures.
Generation and monitoring of a training plan for the personnel in charge, according to the technologies used in the equipment installed in the General Assembly plant process.
Monitoring the implementation of the SPW methodology in General Assembly, Shop Floor management, orange Room, Safety, Environmental & Energy,
100% support for production and all areas involved in the manufacturing of the vehicle.
Preparation, implementation and monitoring of NNM, NM, V1/V2, Improvements projects.
Work together with the Vehicle Process Engineering, VPE department.
Bachelor's degree, graduated and titled in electronics, electrical, mechatronics, at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. Intermediate, advanced knowledge in PLCs, robots, communication networks, conveyors, mechanical transmission systems, electricity, hydraulics systems, Pneumatics, Torque Tools, pneumatics systems, personnel management, dealing with suppliers, availability to schedule shifts, proactive, analytical, High level of responsibility, belonging and availability, English level 60 - 80% speaking, reading and writing, Work under pressure, Focused on results.
