About the role

We are seeking a Quality Specialist for the Underwriting Solutions Centre team. You will support the implementation of our automated underwriting tool, Magnum, with our global client base, ensuring product quality and maintaining market reputation.

You will develop and apply testing methodologies for Functional, System, and User Acceptance Testing, collaborating with local and global colleagues.

Magnum is a key product in our risk management strategy, enabling operational efficiency and growth. This role is pivotal as we experience significant client activity and product upgrades.

Main Responsibilities

1. Test plan development & execution based on specifications
2. Issue identification, prioritization, and resolution tracking
3. Participate in User Acceptance Testing cycles
4. Maintain and update regression test packs
5. Support Test Automation efforts
6. Contribute to developing testing standards and best practices

This is a full-time role.

About the team

Magnum is an automated underwriting solution by Swiss Re, serving over 70 insurers worldwide, supporting risk assessment in Life and Health insurance. It is a market-leading software with a growing global client base, from the US to Europe and Asia, aiming for balanced growth and excellent client service.

About you

• 7+ years experience in Software Testing and Defect Lifecycle
• Degree in Computer Science or IT, with testing certifications
• Strong understanding of STLC
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C# (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Web, API, and SQL databases
• Automation experience with frameworks like Ui Path Studio (preferred), BDD, Selenium, Postman, Visual Studio
• Familiarity with Test Management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, AML
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access
• Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills
• Team-oriented, flexible, and independent worker
• Willing to learn and pursue professional development
