We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Project Manager.

Role Purpose:

Project Managers often play a people/team management role within projects/programmes. They may also have line management responsibility for junior resources within their resource pool. The specific purpose of this role is to establish, deliver, manage, direct, track, and report on the progress of several group-wide projects/programmes to ensure HSBC meets its obligations in key Infrastructure Delivery capabilities.

This role will establish and deliver projects within the Connectivity Transformation and Change team for Change the Bank (CtB) portfolios, which may include but are not limited to: Service Sustainability portfolio (SSP), Transformation, CTO Corporate Services Estate portfolio.

Main Activities:
  1. Provide oversight of the programme(s)/project(s)’ financial and outcome accountability, reporting to a Portfolio Manager within CTO Connectivity.
  2. Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders within IT, Global Businesses, Finance.
  3. Work closely with the Portfolio Manager, the Connectivity Transformation and Change team, and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with the wider change portfolio and group strategy.
  4. Provide a board-level overview of progress, lead multidisciplinary teams across global regions and functions.
  5. Lead end-to-end execution of projects, including definition, planning, execution, governance, financial and resource management, and change management.
  6. Provide financial analysis and contextualize financial data into business conclusions.
  7. Ensure adherence to financial processes and procedures set by HSBC Group, regulators, and CTO PM Practice.
  8. Identify and escalate budget-related risks, issues, and opportunities.
  9. Ensure effective handover of projects into Business-as-Usual operations for benefits realization.
  10. Deploy HSBC Change Frameworks and methodologies, instilling good project disciplines.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of technical teams on Contact Centre, Cloud technologies, Networking Infrastructure, Firewalls, Routing, Solution Architecture and Design.
  • Experience delivering change programmes within a Technology organization, specifically in telecom Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Session Border Controller, Genesys deployments.
  • Knowledge of automation products managing contact centre projects with platform experience.
  • Familiarity with Clarity, Jira, Confluence, MS Project.
  • Business analysis skills for assessing and recommending connectivity infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Project Management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Ability to influence in a matrix environment and establish partnerships at all organizational levels.
  • Experience implementing large-scale organizational, procedural, technology, and people change programmes.
  • Subject Matter Expert in Networking, with external supplier relationship management.
  • Proven ability to interact positively with Senior Executives and manage global stakeholders.
