Position Summary

Provides 3rd level support for Store Technical Support concerning LINUX, UNIX, and store system issues. Performs comprehensive root cause analysis of system failures to improve system functionality and reduce call volume. Delivers superior service through prompt interaction with support teams.

Job Responsibilities - Other Duties May Be Assigned

  1. Performs system administration activities, including server reboots, space relocation, and failure monitoring.
  2. Handles sensitive problems requiring extensive research for resolution.
  3. Reviews system logs to determine causes of failures and conducts root cause analysis.
  4. Creates support documentation, documents resolutions, provides analytical data, and makes strategic recommendations; performs ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  5. Writes and tests code on existing applications.

Skills and Requirements

  1. Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  2. Study area: Computer Science or Programming.
  3. Experience: 1-2 years in relevant roles, customer service, or technical analysis.
  4. Languages and skills: Fluent in English and Spanish; experience with LINUX, MS Office, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Python, Perl, HTML, C, C++, JCL; experience in AutoZone Stores or Technical support preferred; Portuguese language skills are a plus.
