The Associate Developer, M365 role will assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining custom applications using the Microsoft 365 (M365) Power Platform and SharePoint. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow skills and gain experience in Dataverse and Azure, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of business solutions.
Your Role Accountabilities:
OPERATIONS
- Assist in designing and developing custom applications using the M365 Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Develop and integrate custom solutions within SharePoint Online to enhance business processes and workflows.
- Learn and utilize Dataverse for data management, storage, and integration across applications and services.
- Assist in implementing and managing Azure services to support and enhance custom applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices and high-quality code standards.
- Work closely with senior developers and team members to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to design scalable and robust application architectures that meet business requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications, ensuring smooth deployment and transition to production environments.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in M365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Dataverse, and Azure, and recommend improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and advise on best practices and solutions.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience or internships developing custom applications with M365 Power Platform and SharePoint.
- Basic knowledge of REST API calls and programming languages.
- Experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, development, and customization.
- Some knowledge of Dataverse for data management and integration.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and SQL Database.
- Understanding of system architecture, microservices, and API design.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
Preferred but not required:
- Relevant certifications in M365, Power Platform, SharePoint, and Azure.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of additional Microsoft technologies like Dynamics 365 and Teams.
- Scripting and automation skills.
- Interest or experience in media, entertainment, and technology industries.
