Fortune Brands Innovation, Inc. busca un Associate Design Engineer para su Nuevo Centro de Innovación en Monterrey. Trabajará con equipos multifuncionales para apoyar proyectos de ingeniería de producto dentro de un proceso de diseño/desarrollo estructurado.

El rol enfatiza mejoras continuas, reducción de costos y robustez de diseños; se requiere ingeniería, disponibilidad para trabajar en planta y habilidades de comunicación. Requiere bilingüe y experiencia inicial en CAD.

Formación

• Bachiller o licenciatura en Ingeniería requerida.
• Totalmente bilingüe.
• Experiencia de nivel inicial en diseño (CAD).
• Experiencia en modelado 3D paramétrico (SolidWorks deseable).

Responsabilidades

• Colaborar con ingenieros de producto para desarrollar especificaciones y dibujos de diseño.
• Apoyar al equipo de ingeniería de diseño en proyectos asignados.
• Ayudar en el análisis de fallos y resolución de problemas.
• Asegurar que se entreguen diseños robustos.
• Participar en Revisiones de Diseño / DFM / DFA.
• Mejorar procesos y herramientas para apoyar la estrategia FBIN.

Job Description

In Fortune Brands Innovation, Inc. we're looking an Associate Design Engineer for our New Innovation Center in Nuevo Leon, you will work with cross functional teams to support product engineering projects within a structured design/development process. Your design work will support our continuous improvement and cost reduction plans to improve the health of our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with product engineers to develop design specifications and drawings to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements
• Support design engineering on assigned projects
• Support teams in problem solving and failure analysis
• Support team to ensure robust designs are delivered
• Actively participate in Design Reviews / DFM / DFA for new products
• Continuously improving processes, skills, team environment and tools necessary to achieve FBIN product leadership strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required
• Fully Bilingual
• Entry-level experience in design engineering (CAD)
• Experience with 3-D Parametric Solid Modeling (Solid Works is a plus)
• Collaborative problem solving techniques for geometric dimensioning and tolerances
• Analysis of component / assembly tolerance stack-up's.
• Ability to perform detail-oriented work accurately
• Adaptable, able to adjust to ongoing changes and improvements
• Self-motivated and collaborative
• Good written and oral communication skills
