Formación

  • Minimum 3 years in Food & Beverage as a department head.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment preferred.

About the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager:

Supports the Restaurant Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service. This role involves supervising staff, assisting in administrative tasks, maintaining high standards in food and service, and ensuring an excellent guest experience. The Assistant Manager acts as a leader on the floor and a key contact when the Restaurant Manager is unavailable.

What you will do:

  • Assist with daily operations including opening/closing procedures.
  • Monitor performance, provide guidance, and motivate team members.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Assist in monitoring sales, labor costs, and other KPIs.
  • Help with stock control, inventory checks, and supply orders.
  • Follow cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
  • Maintain staff schedules in coordination with the Restaurant Manager.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required
  • A minimum of three (3) years in Food & Beverage as a department head
  • Two (2) + years’ experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of Micros and Opera systems
  • Understanding of food safety standards and health regulations
  • Basic financial knowledge (e.g., labor costs, P&L, inventory)
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in operating computer equipment
