About the Club

Nauka Golf Club is a premier private golf facility that recently opened up in April 2025, designed by renowned golf course architect Tom Fazio. The 18-hole championship masterpiece and challenging 9-hole short-course offer golfers of all ages and abilities the ultimate golf experience.

Set against the tropical jungle overlooking the ocean, the Nauka Golf Club showcases spectacular views, undulating greens, challenging elevations, and natural bunkering that adds to the drama of each hole.

Position Summary

The Assistant Golf Professional supports the Director of Golf in all aspects of the golf operation. This includes delivering outstanding customer service, managing daily operations, assisting with instruction, and ensuring that members and guests have a memorable and professional experience on and off the course.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day‑to‑day operations of the golf shop, including merchandising, inventory tracking, and point‑of‑sale transactions
  • Greet members and guests, assist with tee times, and provide superb customer service at all times
  • Provide individual and group lessons under the direction of the Director of Golf, helping to coach players of all skill levels
  • Assist with running clinics, tournaments, and special golf events
  • Maintain a professional and tidy appearance of the golf shop, practice facilities, and equipment
  • Collaborate with the Director of Golf to coordinate staffing schedules and ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

  • PGA/LPGA Associate, or Class A Professional preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Previous experience in golf operations, instruction, or merchandising is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality service to members and guests
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings/late evenings as required
  • Basic knowledge of golf club repair techniques and merchandising platforms (POS systems) is a plus
