Assistant Center Manager

Reporting to the Center Manager, in the absence of the manager, you will have ultimate responsibility for the entire center operations, including production, quality compliance, finance, HR, and IT.

The Role

1. Ensure compliance with all Company SOPs and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
2. Participate in collecting and analyzing data to maintain center quality, efficiency, and profitability.
3. Collaborate with the center manager to assist with quality compliance by meeting company, regulatory, and customer requirements to safeguard the purity and efficacy of the plasma and the safety of donors and employees.
4. Work with quality personnel and QA team to develop corrective action plans to address any areas of deficiency noted during audits.
5. Ensure the center and all employees comply with OSHA regulations, complete all OSHA record keeping and reporting, and receive appropriate training.
6. Handle employee recruitment, training, counseling, termination, and corrective action programs, following HR policies to treat all employees fairly.
7. Support the center's marketing and advertising efforts.
8. Overnight travel up to 10% may be required.

Experience

Minimum 1 year supervisory or leadership experience overseeing the activities of a team or others.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience required.

Working Conditions

• Spend approximately 80% of the time standing or walking, with occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Spend about 60% of the time auditing, improving, and observing ongoing operations within the center.
• Work with hazardous chemicals, and be exposed to extreme temperatures and bloodborne pathogens.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing specific tasks in designated areas.
