Job summary:

The Assembly Technician performs product testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of both semi-finished and finished assemblies. The Assembly Technician assembles both the semi-finished and finished products. This includes electronic, optical, and mechanical assembly.

• Perform testing and troubleshooting of semi-finished and finished assemblies
• Solder components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) as per drawings
• Perform product calibration
• Inspect components on the PCBs
• Remove and rework components from PCBs
• Assemble parts as per drawings
• Assemble cables and wires (electrical or optical) as per drawings
• Soldering components or wires onto assemblies
• Using screwdrivers or other hand tools to assemble products
• Other duties related to the production assembly or test process as may be deemed necessary

What we’re looking for:

Technical skills: Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting, optical, or mechanical components, good soldering skills, ability to read assembly drawings, understanding of testing and SMT applications, and correct use of hand tools and test equipment.

Required aptitudes: Ability to work with minimal supervision, positive attitude, and versatility.

Must have: 1-3 years of experience in an electronic production environment is preferred.

Language requirements: Able to communicate in English (read, write, and speak) is desirable.

Education: High school or above.
