General Motors de México in Toluca, Mexico is seeking a on-site supervisor to support the efficient use of personnel, material, and equipment and to train and develop salaried and hourly employees into high-performing teams.

The role involves supporting Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) across departments, ensuring quality standards, implementing lean principles, and maintaining safe work practices. On-site, 4x3 shift pattern applies.

Formación

• 1–3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience
• Experience working with assembly lines
• Knowledge of or experience applying GMS principles (desirable)
• Experience leading, coordinating, or managing people
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Intermediate English proficiency

Responsabilidades

• Support effective use of personnel, material, and equipment and participate in training and developing employees and teams
• Support GMS processes across departments and assist with launch and pilot activities
• Maintain awareness of quality standards and communicate quality goals
• Build and maintain positive relationships with employees, union and management
• Understand and administer National and Local Agreements between GM and UAW
• Promote safe work practices and drive ergonomics and health & safety objectives
• Ensure team receives adequate job instruction training (JIT)
• Help meet production schedules and product requirements using lean/synchronous principles to reduce variation and costs
